Cataclysm Beta Key!

Finally! Yesterday I received my Cataclysm Beta Key! I will be trying to fraps as much as possible as soon as the game is done downloading patches. (I would rather not stream the game like they have made possible because I feel that playing a half loaded game takes away from the experience.) Anyways, I would like to thank the great people over at WoWinterface.com for their Beta Key giveaway. Without it, I never would have gotten into the beta! So look forward to blogs and videos about Cataclysm in the near future!

A Week of Progression

NoD, being a newly reformed guild, has made good progress in one week. In one of the two nights allotted for our 10m ICC group, we focused on heroic modes and filled H Marrow. We also attempted H Deathwisper and Saurfang, however these two were a little to difficult for us. We will most likely down them next week, and attempt H Rotface and Festergut. Both of which should be very simple. As a whole, I am very pleased with the way that the guild is going. There has been absolutely no drama, and everyone is fun to play with. Best of all, the raid times are good for me, even once I am back in school. Hopefully things keep going in this direction

Guild Drama and The Exodus

Guild Drama, a plague among the WoW community. Whether it strikes fast or slowly creeps into a guild, it will inevitably destroy what was once great. This past week, Deity has been in what I will call a "swift decline". The quality of the guild is dropping as the quantity is rising. After a few days of thought, a few others and I have left the guild and reformed an old guild of my friend Raffies. It is called NoD or Noobs Off Duty. So far, the guild has been going well. Structure is keeping everything in order and the makings of a great guild are all there. Good people, good management, community and a will to achieve common goals. I am looking forward to raiding with my fellow guildies and hopefully progressing farther into ICC than any of us have done before.

New Video: Violet Hold!

After feeling like I have been neglecting to post videos as often as I can, I felt like I was due for a new one. Its not much, but its still enjoyable to watch. Also, it includes music from Iron & Wine, whom I have been listening to a lot this past week. The video can be found here!

Lich King Down!

Finally! I am officially listed on the armory as Anjuna the Kingslayer! At last, after about 4 hours of wiping (surprisingly less time than we spent on Sindragosa last week), we killed the Lich King. Thank god I have found a patient guild that never gets to serious or angry. Had it not been for everyone keeping a level head and maintaining patience, I do not think we would have downed him. So thank you to all members of Deity's ICC Group 1!

Updated Artwork Pack

I have updated my artwork pack on WoWinterface. Here is one of the new pieces of art: Saronite. The other new piece is entitled Supernova. Saronite features bright and vibrant lighting with a color scheme closely linked to the Northrend Ore of the same name. Supernova is a darker piece with a color scheme resembling a Sun. I like both pieces and would appreciate if you would check them out! The Artwork Pack can be downloaded here!

A Good Week

It has been a good week for me. My raid group has gotten Lich King to phase3 and we downed Halion. Still no good gear for me, but badges and cash are always nice. Also, my warrior is finally at around 800 resilience and is almost ready to start some serious arena. Just a few more rounds of Wintergrasp and some more 15 minute Battleground queues (/cry) and ill be golden!

Halion, The Raid Destroyer

I swear it is impossible to get a group of 10 intelligent and alert people these days... After a long night of raiding, Our guild continued on to Ruby Sanctum and immediately were plagued by bad pugs, dumb people, and all together idiotic behavior. After what seemed like a month, we finally got all three mini bosses down and moved on to Halion. After one wipe at 65% due to dumb people not running from the Twilight Cutters, we lost 3 people and were forced to look for more. After people were found we continued to do about 6 attempts which brought us as low as 10% but people continued dying to either twilight cutters or by not running when they had the debuff... We finally called the raid at about midnight and plan on finishing it up on Monday... Hopefully it will go better..

New Video: Look Mom, No Life! Audiosurf

24 Hour Server Maintenance /cry

So, Black Dragonflight was chosen as one of the unlucky few servers that had 24 hour maintenance this week. I have been sitting at my desk staring at either Photoshop or Youtube for the past 6 hours just wishing WoW was up. I was looking so forward to getting my i264 trinket today, But no! I just cant have nice things =(. It seems that Blizzard has not been kind to me lately.

Who Am I?

Greetings fellow citizen of Azeroth. Whether by chance or luck on my part you have been brought to this blog. Let me start by introducing myself. I am an avid World of Warcraft player (among other games) and have been placed in between the soft-core and hard-core play styles for my past 6 years in Azeroth. I currently have 4 level 80's and am Leveling another. My main is a holy/discipline priest named Anjuna as well as fury/protection warrior named Senash who I play as much as my priest. Both these characters are on Black Dragonflight, Horde. I also have two characters I do not play nearly as much. These two are Geluincendia (Black Dragonflight, Alliance) and Dotyoudown (Anub'Arak, Horde). Besides in-game content, I am also well involved in many websites that deal with WoW such as Youtube , WoWinterface and Tankspot.
